A 25 page document that I prepared with details leading up to the riot including phone correspondence. It was submitted to the Ombudsman requesting an investigation as to why the police did not respond to the serious threats and prevent the riot leading to the looting and destruction of our personal property; the arson of our home and two research bungalows; and the killing of numerous crocodiles, a protected species in Belize. To date no formal report as to the results of the investigation have been released to us from the Ombudsman.
