Rescued by Vince Rose and Chris Summers of ACES/American Crocodile Education Sanctuary several weeks ago, this little croc was found in a shallow ditch amongst garbage including rusting metals and nearly starved to death. Crocodiles once emaciated to a certain point will stop to feed. Severely underweight, Vince force-fed this juvenile American crocodile and finally ate some fish on it's own. Not wishing to get the animal used to humans, it was immediately tagged and re-released into a pristine and secluded Red mangrove habitat.
