Help Take A Bite Out of Extinction!

American Crocodile Eats Pig Head at ACES

George is a 13+ foot American Crocodile that was rescued from sure death. George was on Ambergris Caye and being fed frozen chicken by local boys as a tourist attraction. Illegal to feed wildlife in Belize and protected under the Belize Wildlife Act, this croc was relocated by ACES to our facility in Punta Gorda. See the video of his capture here on YouTube. George now relaxes in an acre natural and secure containment habitat off of the Rio Grande River. His alternative was to be to put down. With the impending development in Belize, ACES now houses 9 rescued crocs with many more in need of help, and George is in desperate need of his own habitat. The Wildlife Discovery Center in Illinois will be hosting an event in the near future to help raise funding for a new habitat for George. Anyone interested in helping can contact www.beedfund.org . No donation is too small. There are only an estimated 10,000-20,000 American Crocodiles left Worldwide. Help Take A Bite Out of Extinction!
