Help Take A Bite Out of Extinction!

Howler Monkeys at ACES

Endangered Guatemalan Black Howler Monkeys, Alouatta pigra, live in troops of up to 20 monkeys depending on the season. Found in Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico, this species lives in tropical and semi-deciduous rain forests. They are the loudest of the mammals, with their vocalizations being heard up to 3 miles away. Here at ACES / American Crocodile Education Sanctuary, you can see several troops almost daily. The young are normally born with the onset of dry season, around December/January. Come stay in ACES Croc-Cabanas and awaken to their resonating calls while You Help Take a Bite Out of Extinction!
