ACES staff receives Basic Wildlife Rehabilitation training in Texas

The field of wildlife conservation, rescue, and rehabilitation is one that is constantly evolving. To keep up, ACES team members are dedicated to seeking out new educational opportunities to improve our knowledge base in order to provide the best service to our community, environment, and wildlife.

Thanks to funds donated by Chase The Ace San Pedro, Christina Manzi was able to attend a course in Texas this past week covering basic wildlife rehab and fluid therapy. With the ever increasing amount of calls we receive regarding non-crocodilian wildlife, we want to provide the best possible care and now we feel much better prepared!

Thank you IWRC and Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Coalition for hosting this wonderful course and thank you to Chase the Ace and all who played, contributing to the betterment of the quality of our care!
