Reef Week Fair

Every year Hol Chan Marine Reserve hosts an educational fair in celebration of reef week.

NGO's and governmental organizations set up booths show casing informational displays about the wide varieties of ecosystems and wildlife that are so intricately linked and dependent on one another.

There's booths from Hol Chan Marine Reserve, Oceana, The Belize Forest Department, Mar Alliance, The Belize Fisheries Department, Blue Ventures and so many more!

The kids take turns coming out from their individual schools and visit the different booths gaining knowledge along the way. If you've never been you're missing out!

She's always so animated when engaging children :)

"Survival", a Yahtzee based game we made to teach the kids about the low survival rate of hatchlings due to predation, illness, and habitat loss. We’re having a bad day.... so far only one croc has survived to become an adult. There’s been a lot of reptile on reptile violence 🐊🐍, and we’ve got some sick and starving crocs from pollution and loss of habitat
