Today I was.... BATMAN!!

This cute little bat was on the struggle bus. Something grounded him (flew into a window perhaps?) and once they’re down it can be tough for them to get back up. The owner of the property found him and called to see if we could help, and thankfully there didn’t seem to be too much wrong. With a little hydration, some shade and rest, within 24 hours he was good to go and he’s back out in the wild making a dent in the mozzie population one mosquito at a time. It’s important to note if you come across a situation like this, you should NEVER handle a bat with your bare hands, or any animal for that matter. But critters that bats and raccoons you must be particularly careful with as the can carry and transmit rabies.
